Barium chloride dihydrate is prepared by reacting barium sulfide solution with hydrochloric acid, followed by desulfurization, neutralization, evaporation, cooling crystallization, centrifugal separation and drying. Main purpose: raw material for manufacturing barium salt. It can be used as an insecticide to control a variety of plant pests. Brine and boiler water used for refining electrolytic caustic soda. Also used in the preparation of pigments. Textile industry and leather industry used as mordant and rayon matting agent. Machinery industry for quenching and metal processing.
